PHILADELPHIA – Temple lacrosse midfielder Belle Mastropietro has been named Second Team All Mid-Atlantic Region, as announced by the IWLCA Thursday afternoon. This becomes the third straight year and the sixth time in seven seasons that an Owl has earned all-region honors, with Mastropietro picking up the second of her career.

Mastropietro, who earned her second straight American Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year honor, and third straight First Team All-Conference recognition, had a standout season for the Cherry and White. The senior led the team in almost all statistical categories, including goals (39), assists (20), points (59), and draw controls (94). Her 94 draw controls ranked second in the conference in the regular season with 5.88 per game, while her 3.69 points per game ranked sixth. With 94 draw controls, she advances to 286 in her career, breaking the all-time record at Temple by a 50-draw control margin.
