Men's Crew Coach Brian Perkins' Contract Not Renewed

PHILADELPHIA – Vice President and Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson announced today that the contract for men's crew head coach Brian Perkins will not be renewed for the 2023-24 season.
"I would like to thank Coach Perkins for his service to Temple University. He is a proud alumnus and has been a dedicated coach and steward of the men's crew program. I wish him the best in the future," said Johnson.
Assistant coach Fergal Barry, who has been a member of the Temple men's crew staff since 2015, will serve as the program's interim head coach.
A search for the next Temple men's crew coach will commence immediately.
