PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's soccer (0-2-1) recorded its first draw of the young season, tying the Rider Broncs (1-1-1), 0-0. The Owls' backline impressed, allowing only seven shots and recording a defensive save.

How it Happened
- It was slow at first as the two sides felt each other out. The Owls fired off the first shots of the contest, with a pair of darts from Nicole Sweeney and a shot on target from captain Phoebe Hollin.
- Goalkeeper Tamsin Bynoe made her first save of a clean sheet performance in the 23rd minute.
- Neither side could break the deadlock for the remainder of the first half. Going into halftime locked at zero.
- The Cherry & White came out firing in the second, with the first four shots of the half coming from the Temple side of the pitch. Fiona Killian and Hollin each had a pair of good locks turned away by the Rider keeper.
- The Broncs flipped the script in beginning in the 64th minute, with three shots on target in the next six minutes. Bynoe saved two, with Sweeny making a team save on the third.
- The Owls had one last run in the 83rd minute, resulting in a shot from Jessica Carrieri. The attempt was saved by the Rider keeper to yield a result of nil-nil.
- Temple led in shots, 11-7.
- This was the first clean sheet of Bynoe's career.
- Only one card was pulled in the match, being a yellow on the Owls.
