Joquez Smith Named to AAC Week 3 Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA — Temple freshman running back Joquez Smith was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for Week 3.

For a team that entered the game with just 129 rushing yards on the season, Temple started true freshman Joquez Smith at running back and he exploded for 142 yards on 15 carries, including a 51-yard TD burst. He also caught the first pass of his career – a 15-yard touchdown – which gave Temple its first score in a 41-7 victory over Norfolk State.
