CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Temple men's soccer team fell to Charlotte on Friday night by a score of 3-1, moving their record in AAC play to 0-2-1. Juan Zepeda scored for the Owls, the first goal of his collegiate career.

How it Happened
> Charlotte got on the board with a pair of goals in quick succession in the 18th and 23rd minutes. The 49ers controlled the offensive side of the ball for most of the half, outshooting Temple 10-2.
> Zepeda headed one into the net in the 51st minute, converting on the Owls' lone shot on goal in the game. Felix Ewald picked up the assist.
> The 49ers added on one more in the 59th minute to bring the score to 3-1.

Game Notes
> Zepeda is the eighth different Owl to score a goal this season. He adds on to his one assist to give him three total points.
> Ewald's assist ties him with Zepeda for the team lead in points.
> Draven Barnett, Kemali Green, and Andrew Kempe played all 90 minutes.
