PHILADELPHIA - Michael Heyer, Maya Schneider, and Meredith Sipple have been hired in the Temple athletic department ticket sales office, announced Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations Scott Walcoff.

"I am thrilled to welcome Michael, Maya, and Meredith to Temple," said Walcoff.  "Together, they bring great experience from both the professional and collegiate side.  Their creativity, work ethic, and customer-centric approach will be a huge asset for our department."

Heyer, who was named Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales, comes to Temple with nearly a decade of professional experience in sports ticketing. He began as a Group Sales Coordinator the Trenton Thunder in 2015, working his way up to Group Sales Manager, a position he held for three years. With the Thunder, he managed all game day staff and helped create, market, and execute theme nights in addition to maintaining ticket sales. Heyer most recently spent over five years as Assistant Director of Ticket Sales and Operations at Princeton, where he oversaw sales plans for all seven of the Tigers' ticketed sports. He was also responsible for building and maintaining the athletic department's dedicated ticketing website. Heyer is a 2014 graduate of Monmouth University, where he completed a degree in Communications.

Schneider, hired as a Ticket Sales Account Executive, comes to Temple after a two year stint in the Philadelphia Phillies' ticketing and sales office. With the Phillies, she managed sales and customer relations, working with individual, group, and season ticket plans at Citizens Bank Park. She also assisted with public relations and marketing operations on gamedays, including during the Phillies' postseason runs in 2022 and 2023. Schneider is a 2022 graduate of Bryn Mawr College, where she completed a degree in Anthropology and was a team captain of the swim team.

Sipple, hired as a Ticket Sales Account Executive, also comes to Temple from across the city after spending the last year and a half as Ticket Sales and Service Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania. Sipple was a representative for all ticketed events at Penn, including overseeing and managing all game day ticketing staff. She was responsible for the creation and execution of ticket related promotions for Quaker Athletics. Prior to Penn, Sipple spent time as a sales representative at Kampus Klothes and with the New York Red Bulls, working specifically in ticketing with the Red Bulls. She is a 2019 graduate of Coastal Carolina University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
