Owls in the NFL: Divisional Round

PHILADELPHIA- With the NFL heading into Championship weekend, several former Owls are still within reach of a Super Bowl Championship.
On Sunday at 3 p.m., the #1 seed Baltimore Ravens will host the #3 seed Kansas City Chiefs. Rock Ya-Sin (2018) and the Ravens dominated the #4 seed Houston Texans in their Divisional Round matchup, 34-10.
The Chiefs director of player personnel, Tim Terry (1993-96) is looking for his third Super Bowl win in five seasons. Last Sunday, the Chiefs knocked off Dion Dawkins (2013-16), Tyler Matakevich (2012-15), defensive coach Al Holcomb (1996), and the #2 seed Buffalo Bills, 27-24.
In the NFC, Michael Niese (2020), Jordan Martin (2008-10), and the #3 seed Detroit Lions head to San Francisco to face the #1 seed 49ers. Kickoff for that game is set for 6:30 p.m. Last week the Lions knocked off Todd Bowles (1982-85), assistant coaches Keith Armstrong (1983-86), Nick Rapone (1983-88, 1999-05), Kevin Ross (1980-83), and the #4 seed Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-23.
