Men's Crew Has Pair of Boats Finish Top 15 at Head of the Charles Regatta
10.20.24 | Men's Crew
BOSTON, Mass. - The Temple crew team competed at the world-renowned Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday, with a pair of shells racing up the Charles River. The Owls saw both of their crews earn top 15 finishes, including an eighth-place showing by the Varsity 8+. With the result, both boats earned an automatic bid into next year's event.
QUOTE FROM BRENDAN CUNNINGHAM: "I was proud of the performances of our two crews today. The second varsity eight advancing two spots from last season is a testament to their hard work and determination. And despite the varsity eight needing to change course to avoid a collision, their awareness and adaptability under pressure were exceptional. Every race is a stepping stone in our development as a squad. These experiences only strengthen us for what's ahead. Onward and upward!"
