HOW IT HAPPENED
- Temple sophomore setter Lexi Yoza led all players in the match with a 31assists and a team-high 16 digs, marking her fifth double-double of the season.
- The Owls swiped away a 10-0 run in the third set by the 49ers to pick up its second conference win of the season
- Davenport's 16 kills marked the eighth time in 21 matches she's scored over 15 kills this season.
- With hitting .250 as team, it's the first time since Oct. 6 against Florida Atlantic TU has hit .250 or better.
SET 1 (TEM 25, CHA 14)
- The Owls were on fire in the first set as they hit .400 with Davenport earning six of her 16 kills on the day. The Columbia, S.C. native hit .455 in the set while also adding her first of three aces.
- Junior middle blocker Alyssa Finister assisted in the offensive attack with four of her eight kills in the match. The transfer student's .600 hitting percentage was the best of any Cherry and White player in the first stanza.
- Out of the media timeout, Temple sealed the set win by winning 10 of the final 12 points with two kills apiece from Finister and Davenport. Finister also add her first of two service aces on the day.
SET 2 (TEM 25, CHA 20)

- After a Temple timeout, the Cherry and White scored three quick points with an ace from Sydney Jones and a kill from Finister.
SET 3 (TEM 27, CHA 25)
- Seemingly with an unsurmountable, 23-13 Temple lead, Charlotte rallied for 11 straight points to earn its own set point. During the run, the 49ers scored just three times off their offensive attack.
- Davenport and freshman Jones fended off the momentum of the visitors with a pair of kills to put the set away.
