Women’s Tennis Set for Action at Dragon Invitational

PHILADELPHIA - This weekend, Oct. 25-27, members of the Temple women's tennis team will compete in the Dragon Invitational, taking on opponents at Vidas Athletic Complex on the campus of Drexel University.

Nina Andreoni, a freshman, excelled at the Cissie Leary Invitational, delivering standout performances in doubles and battling through tough singles matches. Her highlight came in a thrilling comeback against Delaware's Alina Vasilenko, 0-6, 7-5, 10-4, where she fought back after dropping the first set.
Shevita Aulana, in her first year representing Temple, showcased consistency at the Cissie Leary Invitational in both singles and doubles. She achieved notable victories against Delaware's Sia Mahajan (6-4, 4-6, 10-3) and Drexel's Rebecca Fiedler (6-0, 7-6(1)), finishing the tournament with a solid 3-3 overall record.

UP NEXT
The Owls will return to action from Nov. 7-10 for the ITA Eastern Sectional in North Carolina. Tournament play will begin Thursday and close Sunday.
