PHILADELPHIA - Temple linebacker Tyquan King was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for Week 6, the conference announced Monday.
Against UConn, King led all players in tackles with 15. Additionally, the Connecticut native forced a fumble that led to a 60-yard field goal for the Owls. With 53 total tackles on the season, King is currently second on the team and ranks third in the AAC in that statistic. Led by King, Temple's defense held UConn to under 100 yards on the ground, a significant decrease from the Huskies' 244.5 yard rushing average entering Saturday's contest.
