Owls in the NFL - Week 5
10.8.24 | Football
There are 18 former Temple Owls active in the NFL. Let's take a look at their progress…
Â
Buffalo's Dion Dawkins (2013-16) and the Bills offensive line created gaps for Bills rushers that led to a season-high 150 yards rushing in a 23-20 loss to the Houston Texans.
Â
In a reduced role after the preseason trade for linebacker Matthew Judon, Atlanta's Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) didn't record any tackles for the first time this season.
Â
Jacksonville's Christian Braswell (2017-20) didn't see any action in Sunday's 37-34 win over the Indianapolis Colts. After their first win of the season, Braswell and the Jaguars look forward to their annual trip to London where they'll face the Chicago Bears.
Â
San Francisco's Rock Ya-Sin (2015-18) did not get any reps at safety this week.
Â
Steelers' linebacker Tyler Matakevich (2012-15), Panthers' Safety Sam Franklin Jr. (2016-19), Commanders' linebacker Jordan Magee (2019-23), Bears' defensive end Jacob Martin (2014-17), and Jets' tight end Kenny Yeboah (2016-19) are eligible to return from injury reserve.
Â
The Tennessee Titans and the Detroit Lions were on a bye this week. Rookie tight end David Martin-Robinson (2018-23) and the Titans will return from the bye to play their first divisional game on the road against the Indianapolis Colts.
Â
Starting center Frank Ragnow will likely return to the lineup this week, with Detroit backup center Michael Niese (2016-21) on standby. Niese in his first season is the listed backup for Ragnow, who suffered a torn pectoral muscle that kept him out of last week's game.
Â
Haason Reddick (2013-16) remains on the New York Jets did not report list.
