The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced its end-of-season awards, with three Temple players earning spots on the FBS All-ECAC Team.Â
Â
WR Dante Wright was named to the FBS All-ECAC Offensive Team. Wright finished the year recording 61 receptions for 792 receiving yards, and was on pace to surpass the 1,000 yard mark if not for missing four games due to injury. The senior finishes his Temple career with 100 receptions, placing him 16th on Temple's all-time receptions list.
Â
Linebacker Tyquan King earned a spot on the FBS All-ECAC Defensive Team. King led the Owls in tackles with 111, which ranked second in the AAC and 19th in FBS. King also finished the season with three sacks and a forced fumble.
Â
Kicker Maddux Trujillo rounded out Temple's selections by earning a place on the FBS All-ECAC Special Teams list. Trujillo capped off his college career with record-breaking performances, nailing a 64-yard field goal against Utah State, and a 60-yard field goal at UConn. Both conversions set new records for the longest field goal at the respective stadiums and were the two longest field goals in Temple history. Trujillo finished the season 10-for-13 on 40+ yard tries, including going 5-for-8 from beyond 50 yards.Â
