Owls in the NFL - Week 16

The season of giving is now in full effect, and some of our Owls got an all-expense paid vacation to the playoffs for the holidays. With two weeks left to go, let's recap week 16.
Brandon McManus (2009-12) and the Green Bay Packers punched their ticket to the postseason in a 34-0 shutout win against the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. McManus was a perfect six-for-six including four extra points, and two field goals - one from 46 yards out and the other a 55-yard field goal.
Tennessee's David Martin-Robinson (2018-23) recorded his first catch of his rookie campaign on Sunday. Martin-Robinson caught one pass for six yards in the 38-30 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Pittsburgh's Tyler Matakevich (2012-15) and the Steelers are playoff-bound despite a 34-17 loss to the division rival Baltimore Ravens. Matakevich did not record any tackles in the game.
Washington's Jordan Magee (2019-23) finished with one tackle in Sunday's win against the Philadelphia Eagles. Magee was also forced to leave the game early after suffering a hamstring injury. Magee will look to return to the team soon as the Commanders are now a win away from securing a playoff berth.
New York Jets' Haason Reddick (2013-16) finished with one pass deflection in the 19-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. At tight end, Kenny Yeboah (2016-19) was targeted once in the game but did not come down with any receptions.
The Bills amassed 172 yards rushing on Sunday thanks to Dion Dawkins (2013-16) who helped create lanes for James Cook's 100-yard rushing game. The Bills beat the New England Patriots 24-21 for their 12th win of the season.
Atlanta's Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) had a career game with five total tackles and a sack, his fifth of the season. The Falcons 34-7 win over the Giants keeps them in first place in the NFC South with two games left. Unfortunately, Harrison Hand (2019) remains on injured reserve for the Falcons and has been ruled out for the season.
San Francisco's Rock Ya-Sin (2015-18) did not see game action in the 29-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Carolina's Sam Franklin Jr. (2016-19) did not record any stats in the Carolina Panthers 36-30 overtime win over the Arizona Cardinals.
