PHILADELPHIA - Five Owls earned spots on the American Athletic Conference All-Conference teams, as announced Tuesday. LB Tyquan King and WR Dante Wright were named to the All-Conference First Team, while DE Diwun Black, K Maddux Trujillo, and LB D.J. Woodbury, Sr. earned spots on the All-Conference Second Team. This year marks the most Owls named to the All-Conference teams since 2019, when Temple boasted seven honorees, including four First Team selections.

Despite not starting in the first three games of the year, Tyquan King made a significant impact in his first season in Cherry and White, earning him the honor of First Team All-Conference. King led Temple in tackles with 111, which ranked second in the AAC and 19th in FBS. King also finished the season with three sacks and a forced fumble, while anchoring the middle of the defense alongside fellow honoree D.J. Woodbury.

Dante Wright, the Owls go-to receiver all season, also earned First Team honors. Wright finished the year hauling in 61 receptions for 792 receiving yards and was on pace to break the 1,000 yard mark if not for missing four games due to injury. The senior finishes his Temple career with 100 receptions, placing him 16th on the program's all-time receptions list.

Diwun Black did not see game action until Week Five this season, but made the most of his final eight games, earning him Second-Team honors. Black made life difficult for opposing quarterbacks, tallying eight hurries on the year, while also forcing two fumbles and six TFLs.

Maddux Trujillo set records in his lone season on North Broad, securing him a spot on the All Conference Second-Team. In Week Four vs. Utah State, Trujillo made a 64-yard FG, setting a record for the longest FG in Lincoln Financial Field History. Two weeks later, Trujillo broke another stadium's record, this time at UConn and Rentschler Field with a 60-yard FG. With those two conversions, the Georgia native now holds the two longest FGs in Temple Football history.

D.J. Woodbury, Sr., a key vocal leader of the Owls' defense, caps off Temple's conference postseason honors with a Second Team selection. Woodbury finished the season with 66 solo tackles, which ranked first in the AAC and fifth in FBS. The senior's recorded his first career interception occurred in Week 11 against UTSA, returning it 42 yards and leading to an Owls touchdown on the ensuing possession.
