Mastropietro Named to Tewaaraton Award Watch List

PHILADELPHIA - Temple lacrosse graduate student Belle Mastropietro has been named to the first Tewaaraton Award watch list for the 2024 season. It is her third career recognition from the Tewaaraton Foundation.
Mastropietro previously appeared on the watch list for NCAA lacrosse's national player of the year in 2023 and 2022. She has garnered plenty of recognition during her four plus years as an Owl, having been named AAC Midfielder of the Year three times and All-AAC First Team four times. Mastropietro was also a 2022 Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and a two-time IWLCA All-Region honoree.Â
The team captain has amassed 154 career goals, 63 assists, 93 ground balls, 56 caused turnovers, and a program record 294 draw controls in her career, including eight goals and eight draw controls to start the 2024 season.
Mastropietro and the rest of the Owls will return to action on Wednesday when they host Delaware at Howarth Field at 3:00pm.
