Coach Shaw Announces Signing of Raquel Patalon

PHILADELPHIA - Head women's soccer coach Chris Shaw announced the addition of first-year Raquel Patalon to the 2024 recruiting class.Â
A midfielder from Las Vegas, Nevada, Patalon is set to join the nest after playing three years of varsity soccer at Foothill High School. A two-time Play Maker of the Year her senior and junior years, Patalon was also named to the 2023 Nevada Preps All-Southern Second Team and participated in the Senior All-Star Game following her senior season. She scored 21 goals and held 19 assists. The team achieved State Finals and took second with a record of 22-1-2 (4a). Junior and sophomore year, Patalon was named to the All-state academic team 5A. Throughout her third year, Patalon earned four goals and seven assists. Sophomore year, she scored one goal and seven assists.Â
