Mastropietro Named AAC Midfielder of the Week

IRVING, Tex. - Grad student Belle Mastropietro has been named AAC Midfielder of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday. It is her first weekly honor of the season after a string of honor roll selections in the first few weeks.
Mastropietro scored five times, dished two assists, and won 11 draw controls in two games last week, including a hat trick and seven DC's in Sunday's win over Saint Joseph's. She also eclipsed 300 draw controls for her career last Wednesday, extending her all-time program record and becoming the 10th active player to reach that mark.
Mastropietro and the rest of the Owls will be back in action on Friday when they head cross country to take on nationally ranked USC at 4:00pm ET.
