Coach Shaw Signs Zhou to Women's Soccer Squad

PHILADELPHIA - Head women's soccer coach Chris Shaw announced the addition of Yao Zhou to the 2024 recruiting class.Â
A native of San Michele al Tagliamento in Venice, Italy, Zhou spent four years playing for Tennessee Tech University. A two-time OVC Midfielder of the Year in 2022 and 2023, Zhou achieved two goals and six assists throughout the 2022 season and seven goals and six assists throughout the 2023 season. She was also named to the 2023 United Soccer Coaches All Region team.
Academically, Zhou earned OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll and the OVC Academic Medal of Honor from 2020-2023. She was named to the 2023 United Soccer Coaches Scholars All Region team and deemed the 2023-2024 Ohio Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete.Â
