Nico Piraino Named Temple Director of Football Operations

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple football program announced the hire of its new director of football operations, Nico Piraino.

Piraino, a native of Scranton, Pa., joins the Owls after serving as the director of football operations at Eastern Michigan for the 2023 season.

Prior to Eastern Michigan, Piraino interned with the Houston Texans in Community Development. His duties included player and community outreach efforts, organizing community events, and coordinating fundraising initiatives.

He also served as a student manager for the Penn State football team for four years, while he earned his bachelor's degree in elementary and early childhood education and was selected to Dean's List.
