Women’s Rowing Travels to D.C. for George Washington Invite and New Jersey for Knecht Cup

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Temple Women's Rowing team is set to continue its 2024 spring season at the George Washington Invite and Knecht Cup this weekend.
Temple will send four boats to the George Washington Invite, a two-day competition on April 12-13 that features primarily head-to-head race format among nine collegiate programs. The Cherry & White will be represented by a Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 8, Varsity 4, and 2nd Varsity 4. The Owls will face Georgetown, George Washington, Old Dominion, and West Virginia.
The Owls will also send their Novice 8 boat to the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River, a two-day event on April 13-14.
Last Time Out
The Owls hosted the Delaware Blue Hens on the Schuylkill River for a head-to-head matchup. The Cherry & White took victories in the Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 4, and Novice 8 races.
