No. 14 Temple Women's Tennis Closes AAC Tournament Action in Thrilling Match Against No. 11 UAB

- After very close doubles matches from all three positions, the Blazers earned the doubles point. From the first position, No. 63 Maiko Uchijima/Samantha Nanere came up victorious against Vanessa Mellynchuk/Mackenzie White (UAB), 7(7)-6(2).
- UAB earned a second point to start off singles action, with Sena Takebe playing a competitive match against Klara Kajabova. Temple's first point came from the third position, as Maiko Uchijima tabbed a wij over UAB's Mackenzie White, 6-2, 7(7)-6(3). Jessie Zheng earned a second point for the Owls from the third position where she defeated Sydney Clarke, 6-3, 7-5. In the first and sixth position, Thamara Frasser Kawaratani and Marianthi Christoforidou fell just short of victories as both Owls fought in fierce three-set matches. Although the match was incomplete, Vineetha Mummadi battled Vanessa Mellynchuk.
