Mastropietro Earns Fourth AAC Midfielder of the Week Award

IRVING, Tex. - Senior Belle Mastropietro has been named the AAC's Midfielder of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday. It is her fourth weekly honor of the 2024 season.
Mastropietro led the Owls with five points (2 G, 3 A) and a season best three caused turnovers Sunday against Ohio State. She has totaled five goals and seven assists in her last two games and now has seven games this season with five or more points. She also extended her streak of multi-goal games to 21.
The fifth-year senior ranks top-five in the American in goals (37, 2.64 per game), assists (23, 1.64 per game), points (60, 4.29 per game), draw controls (52, 3.71 per game), and free-position goals (12). Temple's all-time leader in draw controls, she is also top-five in Owl history in points and assists and sixth in goals.
Mastropietro and the Owls will close the regular season on Saturday at No. 10 Florida in a battle of first-place teams in the American. First draw is set for 12:00pm.
