Men's Crew Prepares for 85th Dad Vail Regatta

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - The No. 23 Temple University men's crew team competes in one of the biggest races in the country as it takes prt in the 85th Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on May 10 and 11 on the Cooper River. 

Last Time Out
TU last raced on April 27 when it competed against the other city schools in the Bergen Cup. Temple's best performance was a second place showing in the 2V8+.

Last Time at the Dad Vail Regatta
The Owls won four medals en route to its first overall points title since 1999. TU won gold in the 3V8+ and 2V4+ while claiming silver medals in the 2V8+ and Novice 8+

Dad Vail History
Temple has a storied history at the Dad Vail Regatta, winning the Varsity 8+ 22 times. 2024 is the 25th anniversary of the 1999 victory in the V8+. That boat will be honored at the Dad Vail Reception on Friday night.
