Temple Women's Soccer Shows Resilience in 2-0 Loss

NEW ROCHELLE, NY- Temple women's soccer battled hard against Iona but ultimately fell 2-0 in a tough match on Thursday evening.Â
After ending the first half scoreless, Iona found the back of the net in the 52nd and 58th minute. Despite the result, the Owls displayed resilience and determination on both sides of the ball throughout the game. The team fought to create chances and generated six shots in the second half.
The Owls recorded a season-high 10 shots, with Shari Atkins leading the team with five of her own, also a season-high
The Owls stay on the road for their matchup against William & Mary on Sunday Sept. 1st. The two teams face off at 1:00 p.m.
