WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Temple women's soccer team continued its extended road trip with a 6-0 setback against the William & Mary Tribe on Sunday afternoon.Â
W&M jumped out early with a pair of goals in the first seven minutes of the contest. The Owls found their defensive shape and held the Tribe off the board for the next half hour before one more goal came in to make it 3-0 at halftime. William & Mary then methodically extended its lead throughout the second half.Â
In her second game of the season, Taylor Vecchione made eight saves.Â
Temple returns to action on Thursday, September 5 when it travels to Syracuse, N.Y. to face Le Moyne at 4:00 p.m.
