TU to Face Saint Joseph's in Final Philly Soccer Six Matchup of the Season

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University men's soccer team will play its fourth Philly Soccer Six opponent as the Owls will travel to face Saint Joseph's on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. TU enters the match with a 2-4-2 record following a 1-0 loss against the Charlotte 49ers on Sept. 21. Saint Joseph's currently has a 1-6-1 record, previously falling to Davidson 2-0.

Scouting Temple

Flannan Riley is projected to start in goal as Temple has alternated goalkeepers this season. In his last start, Riley kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over the Akron Zips.
The Owls earned three Philly Soccer Six honors for week 3. Nathan Brown was named Rookie of the Week, Diego Diaz was awarded Defensive Player of the Week and Flannan Riley was named as an Honorable Mention.
This will be Temple's fourth and final Philly Soccer Six match this season. TU aims to improve their city record after a 3-2 win over Villanova on Aug. 25.

Scouting Saint Joseph's

Senior forward Blake Driehuis currently leads the Hawks in shots with three. He was named to the Atlantic-10 Second Team last season.
Senior Lars Haavie has been the primary goalkeeper for Saint Joseph's. He has 27 recorded saves and one shutout in a 0-0 draw against Loyola (Sept. 6).
Saint Joseph's Head Coach Don D'Ambra is in his 15th season with the Hawks. Through his tenure, SJU has a combined 65-142-35 record, including two trips to the Atlantic-10 tournament.
