Edgar Bazan Finds the Net as Temple Draws FAU 1-1

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Temple men's soccer battled Florida Atlantic to a 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon from Boca Raton, Fla. Edgar Bazan scored TU's lone goal as FAU and Temple are each now 0-1-1 in conference play.

Next, the Owls will stay in the Sunshine State as TU will compete on the road against South Florida on Saturday, Oct. 5. The action from Corbett Stadium is slated to start at 7:00 p.m.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Temple got off to an aggressive start, recording two shots and two corner kicks in the first 16 minutes.
- Andrew Kempe had a strong first half as he hauled in two saves.
- Edgar Bazan scored the first goal of his collegiate career in the 69th minute.
- Elliot Rigbert led the Owls in shots for the second consecutive match, following his three-shot performance against Saint Joseph's (Sept. 24).
- Bazan's goal makes him the sixth different Owl to hit the net this season.
- Andrew Kempe's two saves bring his season total to 24, tying him with Flannan Riley.
