Owls Welcome Tulsa to Philadelphia for Sunday Matchup

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University men's soccer team is set to face the Tulsa Golden Hurrricane at Temple Sports Complex on Sunday, Oct. 12. The Owls are coming off a hard fought 1-0 loss to the Penn Quakers while Tulsa is looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat to Oral Roberts.

Scouting Temple

Preston Neal recorded a career-high 10 saves in his last outing against Penn. The senior from Windham, N.H. has made three others starts this season.
Diego Dauzier has also been very effective in goal for Temple in 2025, leading the American Conference in saves per game with an average of 3.71.
This is the first of five straight conference games for Temple to close out the 2025 season. Last season, the Owls closed their season with a five-game shutout streak to punch their ticket to the American tournament.

Scouting Tulsa

The Golden Hurricane enters Sunday with a 1-3 conference record with a win against UAB and losses against Charlotte, South Florida, and Memphis.
Gijs Hovius leads the Tulsa offense with 20 shots and 12 shots on goal. The team ranks fourth in the conference with 119 shots.
Tom McIntosh is in his 31^st season leading Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane recorded a 3-9-3 record last season, including a 1-0 loss to the Temple Owls.

This will be the 14^th all-time matchup between Tulsa and Temple. The Golden Hurricane hold a 4-5-4 series advantage with the Owls winning their last two meetings.
