PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's soccer (3-13-0, 0-7) dropped a 2-0 contest to Charlotte (7-4-2, 3-1-2) on Sunday afternoon at Temple Sports Complex. Goalkeeper Tamsin Bynoe recorded 12 saves in the loss.

How It Happened

After a scoreless first half, Charlotte got on the board in the 50th minute with a goal from Rory Brown, assisted by Evie Craven.
Later, in the 70th minute, the 49ers extended their lead to 2-0 following a goal by Megan Bradley, with Grace Keighley credited with the assist.
Teagan Harkins and Valentina Bitterwolf recorded the only two shots for Temple.
The Owls were outshot 16-2, with Charlotte putting 14 shots on goal.
Bynoe finished the match with 12 saves after facing 16 shot attempts.

Up Next
The Owls will be back in action on Oct. 23 against UAB in Birmingham, Ala. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and the match will be televised on ESPN+.
