Temple Competes at Princeton Fall Classic

PRINCETON, N.J. - Temple men's and women's cross country ran this morning in the Princeton Fall Classic hosted by Princeton University.Â
Rose Tuomisto led the way for the women as she finished with a new personal record. The women finished with 803 points, which put them last in the standings; however, they are making immense progress, as two other women also set a personal record (Emilie Creighton and Amelia Sabatino). Boise State took home first place with 55 points after having its top-five runners finish inside the top-20.
The Temple men were led by Mattia Zen, who set a personal record while finishing 83rd out of 318 runners. As a team, the men combined for 810 points, which landed them a 29th-place finish out of the 31 schools that competed. Also setting personal records were David Litvin, Kasem Kaheal, and Francesco Candiani. Princeton won the meet for the men with a total of 55 points. Their top-five runners also all placed inside the top-20.Â
