MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Temple women's soccer (4-14-0, 1-10) dropped a tough road contest to No. 4 Memphis (15-0-2, 8-0-1), 6-0, on Monday afternoon in Memphis.

How It Happened

No. 4 Memphis got on the board early in the 7th minute when Alex Mackay tucked a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner to make it 1-0.
In the 22nd minute, Flavie Dube doubled the lead with a left-footed finish set up by Elise Perron.
Right after halftime, Ashley Henderson added another for the Tigers, scoring off assists from Perron and Yuna Nagata to make it 3-0.
Henderson struck again in the 64th minute, extending No. 4 Memphis' lead to 4-0.
Just a minute later, in the 65th, Mihiro Furuya found the net off a pass from Nagata and Henderson to make it 5-0, Tigers' lead.
Finally, in the 67th minute, Natalie Leibel capped off the scoring, converting a feed from Henderson to secure the 6-0 victory for No. 4 Memphis.
Teagan Harkins registered the only shot for the Owls, while goalkeepers Tamsin Bynoe (4 saves) and Taylor Vecchione (3 saves) combined for seven saves on the day.

The Owls will wrap up the regular season on Thursday with Senior Day against UTSA at TSC. Game time is set for 4 p.m., and the match will be televised on ESPN+.
