Women’s Tennis Finishes Action at American Fall Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Members of the Temple women's tennis team completed play at the American Fall Championships on Sunday, Oct. 26.
How It Happened
- Marianthi Christoforidou picked up a first-round win in singles play, defeating Natalia Castaneda Guerrero of UTSA in round one. Christoforidou would fall in round two against Melisa Senli of USF.
- Irmak Ozturk advanced past the first round due to a withdrawal from her opponent. Ozturk would eventually be eliminated in round two against Francesca Miglio of North Texas.
- In doubles, Tianni Zhou and Irmak Ozturk fell to Nithesa Selvaraj and Divna Ratkovic of Rice, 8-4.
