GREENVILLE, N.C. – Temple women's soccer (3-12-0, 0-6 AAC) dropped a 2-0 road contest to ECU (4-4-3, 2-1-1 AAC) on Thursday night in Greenville, N.C.
How It Happened
The Pirates opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a goal from Holly Schlagel, assisted by Juliana Viera and Caitlen Dolan Boodram.
ECU doubled its lead in the second half when Amy Mason found the back of the net off a pass from Alyssa Tucker.
The Owls were outshot 25-8, with ECU putting 13 shots on target to Temple's two.
Madison Abi Aoun and Teagan Harkins led the Owls with two shots each.
Goalkeepers Taylor Vecchione and Tamsin Bynoe combined for 12 saves as each had six saves apiece.
