The Global Owls organization fosters a community where international student-athletes can find a sense of belonging within the Temple Athletics family. The group continues to celebrate global perspectives that shape the university's athletic programs and student life.
In alignment with broader NCAA efforts to promote diversity and inclusion across collegiate athletics, Temple's Global Owls proudly support initiatives such as the NCAA Diversity and Inclusion Social Media Campaign. Established in 2018 in collaboration with the Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee and the National Student-Athlete Advisory Committees, this campaign encourages open dialogue and awareness around diversity, equity, and inclusion. The initiative connects student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and support staff nationwide to advance inclusive excellence throughout college sports.
