PHILADELPHIA – Pro Football & Sports Network announced Thursday morning that eight members of the Temple Owls football team have been selected to the 2025 All-American Conference Team.
The 2025 PFSN All-America teams highlight the very best that we've seen this fall. It is packed with productive passers, rare talents at running back, outstanding wide receivers, heroic hog-mollies, and dominant defensive playmakers from front to back, all powered by our suite of PFSN College Impact metrics.
The first-team is made up of the following: tight end Peter Clarke, offensive lineman Giakoby Hills, linebacker Cam'Ron Stewart, and punter Dante Atton. On the second team sits: running back Jay Ducker, offensive lineman Jackson Pruitt, and wide receiver JoJo Bermudez. On the third team is offensive lineman Diego Barajas.
This season, Dante Atton has made waves on the field. The Australian native has punted 62 times in 2025 for a total of 2,615 yards. Atton averaged 42.18 yards per punt this season and his long went for 60 yards. He has pinned opponents within their own 20-yard line 27 times this season. In the final regular season game against North Texas, four of Atton's five punts pinned opponents within the 10-yard line. He pinned the Mean Green at its own seven, five, and one-yard line twice in the contest.
Tight end Peter Clarke turned heads all season long for the Owls. The tight-end friendly offense highlighted Clarke's catch radius and ability to gain yards after the catch. He finished the year with 30 catches, 483 yards, and six touchdowns. His sixth touchdown catch of the season put him in first place in Temple history in touchdown receptions by a tight end. His 4-85-2TD performance against UMass earned him a spot on the Pro Football Focus Week 1 Team of the Week. He served as a team captain against Howard and East Carolina and was named Academic Player of the Week on Oct. 16.
Redshirt freshman Giakoby Hills got inserted into the starting left tackle role only weeks before the start of the season due to an injury one spot ahead of him on the depth chart. From there, Hills locked down the blind spot on the offensive line for the quarterback for all 12 games. He got the nod in every game as the starting left tackle and solidified the position. In week seven he was named to the Pro Football Focus College's Team of the Week.
Redshirt senior outside linebacker Cam'Ron Stewart thrived in the new defensive scheme thanks to defensive coordinator Brian Smith. The Pennsylvania native finished the season with five sacks, 32 tackles, and 10.5 tackles for loss, all being career-highs. Stewart had one of his best games as an Owl in a dominating 55-7 victory over Howard in week two. He finished the afternoon with a career-high three tackles for loss and a career-high two sacks on the day to help Temple get the win.
Head coach K.C. Keeler took one student-athlete with him from Sam Houston State to Temple and that was running back Jay Ducker. Ducker came to Temple with high expectations, and he lived up to that. He started all 12 games in the backfield for the Owls this season and finished the year with 809 yards on the ground. Ducker rushed for seven touchdowns and hauled in two receiving scores. In the regular season finale he also threw for a passing score, the lone pass attempt, completion, and touchdown of his career.
Redshirt junior Jackson Pruitt has been a mainstay at 10th & Diamond as an offensive lineman. He started in the right guard position all 12 games this season, holding up consistently on the interior of the line. He also served as a captain when the Owls took on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
Delaware transfer JoJo Bermudez brought his dashing speed to Temple this season. The redshirt junior wide receiver started in 10 of 12 games this year for the Owls. He ended the season with 38 receptions, 500 receiving yards, and four touchdowns. In the 42-10 win over UMass Bermudez set a career-high with seven receptions. He also served as the team's primary punt returner and averaged 15.0 yards in his ten total returns. He was named Academic Player of the Week on Oct. 23.
Offensive lineman Diego Barajas had a strong season up front for the Owls. The redshirt senior started at right tackle all 12 games this season and serves as team captain for the UMass and Tulane contests.
