Five Members of Temple Football Awarded End of Season Honors by American Conference

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference announced the 2025 honorees for this college football season. Five members of the 2025 Temple Owls squad were recognized on the list and are as follows: tight end Peter Clarke (Second Team), outside linebacker Cam'Ron Stewart (Second Team), return specialist Jojo Bermudez (Second Team), cornerback Ben Osueke (Third Team), linebacker Curly Ordonez (Honorable Mention).
Junior tight end Peter Clarke was recognized as part of the All-American Conference Second Team for his performance during the 2025 season. The London, England, native finished the year with 30 catches for 483 yards and six touchdowns, all career highs. Clarke set the single-season receiving touchdown record for a tight end at Temple with his score against North Texas. Clarke sits second all-time in Temple history in receiving yards by a tight end in a single season with his 483 yards.
Redshirt senior outside linebacker Cam'Ron Stewart made his way onto the All-American Conference Second Team. The Pennsylvania native finished the season with five sacks, 32 tackles, and 10.5 tackles for loss, all being career-highs. Stewart had one of his best games as an Owl in a dominating 55-7 victory over Howard in week two. He finished the afternoon with a career-high three tackles for loss and a career-high two sacks on the day to help Temple get the win.
Redshirt junior wide receiver Jojo Bermudez ends the season on the All-American Conference Second Team as the return specialist. Bermudez used his lightning speed on punt returns primarily to set up the Owls in great field position on offense. Bermudez totaled 150 yards on punt returns this season having two returns of 31 yards or more. His longest return (37 yards) came in the 55-7 win over Howard in week two.
Fifth year cornerback Ben Osueke ends the year on the All-American Conference third team. The Texas native totaled 30 tackles in 2025, a high for his time as an Owl. The Owls earned a big-time conference win over UTSA in early October thanks to a great performance by the defense. Osueke collected a career-high five tackles in that win. Osueke also notched his first collegiate interception in week one of the season in a 42-10 route over Massachusetts.
