Keeler Retains Half Dozen from Previous Staff

PHILADELPHIA – Recently hired Temple head football coach K.C. Keeler announced today that he has retained Toriana Brown, Nadia Harvin, and Nate Nunamaker, and promoted Nick Arleo, Nico Piraino, and Austin Siegal.
 
Arleo was the special teams' graduate assistant and is now defensive scouting assistant, Piraino was the director of football operations and now becomes chief of staff, and Siegal moves from assistant director of football operations to assistant director of player personnel. Brown originally joined the staff eight months ago as the director of on-campus recruiting.
 
"I am very pleased to announce the promotions of Nick, Nico and Austin, as well as the retention of Tori, Nadia, and Nate," said Keeler. "In their owns ways, they have jumped right in to support me and the new staff. Transitioning can be a difficult time and this group has helped for it to be as seamless as possible. They showed us what 10th and Diamond people are all about."
 
 
Arleo, NickNick Arleo
Defensive Scouting Assistant


Nick Arleo joined the Temple Football program in March 2024 in a volunteer special teams assistant role before becoming a special teams graduate assistant in August 2024. In February 2025, he was promoted to defensive scouting assistant.
 
Arleo came to Temple from Indiana University, where he served as the defensive quality control coach for linebackers. Prior to Indiana, Arleo spent a season as a graduate assistant at Ohio University, primarily working with linebackers and special teams. 
 
Arleo has made a stop at the University of Pittsburgh as well. First as a volunteer defensive analyst, then as a recruiting analyst. Arleo is a 2019 graduate of Ohio State, where he earned his degree in physical activities & coaching.




Toriana BrownToriana Brown
Director of On-Campus Recruiting


Toriana Brown joined the Temple Football staff in May, 2024, as the director of on-campus recruiting. In her role she organizes official and unofficial recruiting visits, as well as assists in the transition and onboarding for all new student-athletes.
 
Brown came to Temple after serving the 2023 season in a similar role with Marshall University. Prior to Marshall, she worked for two seasons as a football recruitment and operations intern at her alma mater, the University of Illinois.
 
The Aurora, Ill., native earned her degree in recreation, sport and tourism from Illinois in 2023.
 
 




Nadia Harvin
Executive Assistant to the Head Football Coach


Nadia Harvin's career at Temple is now in its fifth decade, including nearly 30 years in Football. She has served as Administrative Specialist for the Head Football Coach for the last eight coaching regimes, beginning with Bobby Wallace.

She started her career at Temple as a temp in 1985 for Associate Athletic Director Earl Cleghorn before becoming a full-time employee in Paley Library catalog services.  She has worked for Tuttleman Counseling Services, Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, and the Office of Business Services. 

She was a letterwinner for the Temple women's bowling team during the 1981-82 season and earned her bachelor's degree in organizational studies from Temple in 2006. 
 
In 2023 she was inducted into the Temple Athletics Hall of Fame.

Harvin and her husband, Allen, have a son, Ramish Jordan, and two grandchildren, Elona and Andrew.
 
 
Nate NunamakerNate Nunamaker
Video Coordinator


Nate Nunamaker joined the Temple Football staff in 2024 as the video coordinator. In that role he and his staff film and edit practices and games, as well as making sure all video needs are met for scouting purposes.
 
Nunamaker came to Temple from East Carolina where he was the assistant director of football video. Prior to that he spent time as the director of football video at Florida Atlantic, was a four-year student assistant at Western Carolina, and completed an internship with Wake Forest.
 
A native of Raleigh, N.C., Nunamaker earned a bachelor's degree in sport Management from Western Carolina in 2022.
 
 



 
Nico PirainoNico Piraino
Chief of Staff


Nico Piraino, a native of Scranton, Pa., joined the Owls in 2024, after serving as the director of football operations at Eastern Michigan for the 2023 season. 
 
In February 2025, less than one year later, he was promoted to chief of staff. In his role, he works closely with head coach K.C. Keeler overseeing all aspects of the program on and off the field.

Prior to Eastern Michigan, Piraino interned with the Houston Texans in community development. His duties included player and community outreach efforts, organizing community events, and coordinating fundraising initiatives.

He also served as a student manager for the Penn State football team for four years, while he earned his bachelor's degree in elementary and early childhood education and was selected to Dean's List.
 



 
Austin SiegalAustin Siegal
Assistant Director of Player Personnel


Austin Siegal joined the Temple Football program as assistant director of football operations in August 2024. He was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in February 2025.
 
Siegal spent the previous 18 months at the University of Louisiana-Monroe serving in various roles such as director of on-campus recruiting, director of player personnel, and director of recruiting and operations and compliance liaison. Prior to his time at ULM, the Racine, Wisc., native served a recruiting internship at his alma mater, McPherson College, where he played linebacker and earned a degree in communications. He also played four seasons at Waldorf University prior to his time at McPherson.
