Keeler Completes Initial Staff

PHILADELPHIA – Recently hired Temple head football coach K.C. Keeler announced today that he has completed his initial football staff with the following hires: Director of Creative Media Anthony Getz, Director of Player Engagement Isaac Ijalana, Assistant Director of Football Operations Maddie Rodgers, and Offensive Analyst Kevin Sheehan.
 
"It gives me great pleasure to welcome Anthony, Isaac, Maddie and Kevin to the staff at Temple Football" said Keeler. "Their capabilities and expectations are very different. However, what they share is a commitment to providing our student-athletes with the best experience during their time at Temple. They will fit in perfectly with the staff we have already put in place."
 
 
Anthony GetzAnthony Getz
Director of Creative Media

 
Anthony Getz was hired by Temple Football in February 2025 as the director of creative media. He returns to Philadelphia after one season at Liberty in a similar capacity.
 
Getz returns to the Temple Football program where he spent his undergraduate time assisting the efforts of the recruiting and social media departments through videos and graphics.
 
A native of Jim Thorpe, Pa., Getz is a 2024 graduate of Temple with a degree in sports management.
 
 





 
Isaac IjalanaIsaac Ijalana
Director of Player Engagement

 
Isaac Ijalana was hired by Temple Football in February 2025 as the director of player engagement. He came to Philadelphia after three seasons at Liberty as the director of player relations/NFL pro liaison.
 
While at Liberty, Ijalana began as the assistant director scouting before being promoted into his current role in 2022. While there he assisted with all efforts related to the football recruiting. He managed and updated transfer portal and recruiting boards and assisted with on-campus recruiting, official visits, camps and game day events, and assisted coaching the defensive line.
 
Prior to his time at Liberty, he was a player development assistant at Rutgers (2020-21), a football intern at Ohio State (2019), and an assistant outside linebackers coach at Los Angeles Valley College (2017-18).
 
The New Brunswick, N.J., native earned a degree in social sciences from Oklahoma in 2016, where he also played football.




 
Maddie RodgersMaddie Rodgers
Assistant Director of Football Operations

 
Maddie Rodgers was hired by Temple Football in February 2025 as the assistant director of football operations. She came to Philadelphia after one season at Western Michigan as the director of on-campus recruiting.
 
In her role, she works directly with chief of staff, Nico Piraino handling the day-to-day logistics including team travel, team budget, student-athlete recruitment and a variety of administrative tasks for the football program. 

She arrived at WMU after two seasons at Lafayette as the director of football operations. Prior to Lafayette, Rodgers worked as a pre-draft scouting intern for the Philadelphia Eagles. She participated in the 2022 NFL Women's Forum during her two-month tenure.

Rodgers spent four years with the University of Pittsburgh Athletics department as a student recruiting assistant. She earned a degree in business administration from Pittsburgh in 2022, focusing on human resources management and marketing, with a certificate in sports management.
 
 
Kevin SheehanKevin Sheehan
Offensive Analyst

 
Kevin Sheehan joins Temple as an offensive analyst. He worked alongside offensive coordinator Tyler Walker for the past three seasons at Montana State.
 
Prior to his time as an offensive analyst with the Bobcats, Sheehan spent the 2020-21 seasons as a student assistant at Cal Poly.

Originally from Missoula, Montana, Sheehan attended Loyola Sacred Heart High and played football for the Rams. Following a six-week stint as a coach for Loyola at the conclusion of his high school career, Sheehan attended Cal Poly. He returned to coach Loyola in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, then re-joined Cal Poly in 2021 as a student assistant aiding the offensive coaching staff.

Sheehan graduated from Cal Poly in 2022 with a bachelor's in business administration with an accounting concentration.
