RIVERSIDE, CA – Temple men's tennis secured a 4-2 victory over UC Riverside on Monday, claiming the doubles point before clinching key singles wins. The Owls dominated doubles play and delivered strong performances from Adam Kresina, Aayush Bhat, and Pranav Nemani to seal the win.

How It Happen

Temple secured the doubles point with victories at the No. 2 and 3 spots. Maj Najvirt Kolaric and Dante Russo outlasted Lucas Suarez and Aarav Sane, 6-4, while Nemani and Erden Er secured a 6-3 win over Alexey Efremov and Lucas Mszyca.
In singles, UC Riverside struck first with a three-set win at No. 1, but Kresina quickly responded for the Owls, defeating Sane 6-2, 6-4.
Bhat battled back from a set down to take a tight 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 win at No. 4, while Nemani dominated at No. 5 with a 6-4, 6-1 victory. Russo was leading 4-2 in the third set when the match was called.
