Women’s Rowing Shines in Busy Weekend on the Water

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's rowing had a split squad this weekend and shined in both regattas they were present in.
A majority of the team competed on the Lafayatte River in Norfolk, Virginia against Old Dominion University. The varsity eight and the second varsity eight boat each secured the top spot against ODU.
In Philadelphia at the Kerr Cup, the Temple novice/frosh eight boat secured a resounding first place finish over Drexel and Maryland. The Owls beat Maryland by over two minutes in the end. The full results of both regattas are listed below:
