4.22.25 | Football
IRVING, Texas – The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced its 2025 Hampshire Honor Society on Tuesday, with three Owls - OL Wisdom Quarshie, K Maddux Trujillo, and WR Dante Wright earning selections.
A six-year Owl, Quarshie saw regular action at guard throughout his time at Temple, starting in 32 games for the Cherry & White. Trujillo came to Philadelphia for his final year of eligibility and finished the season 10-for-13 on field goal attempts from 40+ yards, including two conversions from beyond 60 yards. He went 54-75 in his career on FGs after spending his first three seasons at Austin Peay. Wright concluded his career with 220 receptions split between Temple and Colorado State, and his 100 receptions as an Owl placed him 16th on the program's all-time receptions list.
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society consists of college football players from all three divisions of NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who maintained a 3.2 cumulative GPA or better throughout the entirety of their collegiate careers. 2,519 players were selected overall, the largest class in NFF's 19-year history. To date, the Honor Society has honored 20,933 student-athletes.
Selected players, who are nominated by their respective schools, must be either a senior who will graduate this spring/summer and completed their final year of eligibility or a graduated player who has been out of high school at least three years. The players must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.2 and have been starters or contributors throughout the 2024 season.
