Bielinski, Gowman, King, and Martin Earn All-AAC Second Team Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's lacrosse Erin King, Sarah Gowman, Sabrina Martin, and Kat Bielinski were named to the Second-Team All-AAC team, the conference announced on Wednesday.Â
Erin King has appeared in and started every game this season. She has tallied a career-best 36 goals and seven assists with 43 points this year. King tied a season-high four goals and two assists with six points against Charlotte. King scored in nine consecutive games this season.Â
Sarah Gowman appeared all 16 games while starting in 15 games in her first season back from injury. Gowman connected on 18 goals this season, earning her first hat trick against ECU. The sophomore midfielder totaled 10 assists and recorded 28 points this season. Against ECU, Gowman won a season-high seven draw controls.Â
Sabrina Martin started and appeared in all 16 games for the Owls this season. Martin scored a career-high 21 goals with seven assists, adding 28 points to her contributions. The junior midfielder racked up a career-high four goals against Queens. Martin led the team in draw controls with 69 and won a season-high eight draw controls against Drexel and Queens. Martin also led the team in caused turnovers with 20.Â
Kat Bielinski started every game this season for the Owls. Bielinski is second on the team in caused turnovers with 17. The junior defender had a season-high six ground balls against UNC and Delaware. On the offensive end, Bielinski had a career-high two assists this season, picking up assists against Drexel and Delaware.Â

Kat Bielinski started every game this season for the Owls. Bielinski is second on the team in caused turnovers with 17. The junior defender had a season-high six ground balls against UNC and Delaware. On the offensive end, Bielinski had a career-high two assists this season, picking up assists against Drexel and Delaware.Â
