PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's basketball head coach Diane Richardson announced the signing of freshman Anastasia Bulanova on Friday.

Anastasia Bulanova, a 6'1" forward from Novosibirsk, Russia, was a major factor for BC Enisey, competing in both Russia's Major League and the elite Premier League.

Bulanova's breakout came during the 2022–2023 Major League season, when she averaged 16.8 points, 12.1 rebounds, and over 2 blocks and steals per game, leading her team to a championship title and earning MVP honors. She followed that up with an even stronger performance in 2023–2024, averaging 20.3 points and 11.2 rebounds, and was once again named league MVP as Enisey secured a third-place finish.

In 2024–2025, BC Enisey was promoted to the Premier League in Russia, the highest level of professional basketball in the country, and Bulanova helped lead them to a fourth-place finish after averaging 6.1 points and 4.1 rebounds. Bulanova also represents her country as a member of the Russian National Team. She scored a career-high 15 points in a standout performance against powerhouse club UMMC, collected a career-best 11 total rebounds—including 5 offensive boards—in a strong showing against NIKA, and recorded 4 steals and 3 assists in another key game against UMMC.
