Temple Tabbed Fourth, Tucceri Named Preseason All-BIG EAST

NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced Tuesday that the Temple University field hockey team was picked to finish fourth in the league's preseason coaches' poll.
Additionally, senior midfielder Agustina Tucceri was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
The Owls look to build off a 2024 season that saw them advance to the BIG EAST Championship for the first time since 2015. Temple reached the conference final after defeating nationally ranked Old Dominion, 2-1, in double overtime.
Tucceri enters her senior campaign with 18 career points, including three goals and two assists last season. She scored the game-winning goal in the BIG EAST semifinal and also found the back of the cage against Georgetown and Lafayette. Tucceri was named a team captain along with fellow seniors Peyton Rieger and Halle Aschenbach.
Temple opens the 2025 season Friday at 3 p.m. at Delaware before hosting Central Michigan in its home opener Sunday at noon at Howarth Field.
