Owls Ready for Road Test Against Tulsa

PHILADELPHIA — Temple women's soccer will travel to Tulsa, Okla., on Thursday night to face the Golden Hurricane, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. The Owls are coming off a 4-2 loss to USF on September 11 at the Temple Sports Complex.

Madison Abi Aoun scored her first goal as an Owl against USF, while Shari Atkins netted her first goal of the season.
Valentina Bitterwolf leads the team with 17 shots and six points.
Four freshmen have found the back of the net this season: Bitterwolf, Abi Aoun, Maddie Ward, and Eva Matesich.
Goalkeeper Taylor Vecchione kept USF scoreless in the second half during her time in goal.

Scouting the Hurricane

Tulsa enters the matchup with a 5-3-2 record after a 3-3 draw against Little Rock on Sunday.
Jordan Frederick leads the Golden Hurricane with 20 points, including eight goals and four assists. Blaine Schutte follows as the second-leading goal scorer with six goals.
Goalkeeper Tatum Sanders has recorded 36 saves across eight starts this season.
