Opening Tip
Temple is seeking its first seven-game winning streak since the 2014-15 season. Guided by then-head coach Fran Dunphy, the Owls defeated South Florida, UCF, Tulane, USF, Memphis, Cincinnati and East Carolina before the streak was snapped by ranked SMU, with all games coming in league play.

The Pirates enter the contest against Temple with a 5-9 overall record and an 0-1 conference mark, and seek their first road win in four opportunities. ECU owns the toughest strength of schedule in the league, which ranks 16th nationally.
Temple transfer Jordan Riley leads the conference in scoring at 20.8 points per game. Among conference leaders, he ranks first in field goals made (98), first in field-goal attempts (228), first in minutes per game (36:10), third in steals per game (2.0) and fourth in total steals (26).
Off the glass, Giovanni Emejuru ranks among the conference and national leaders in rebounds per game (9.5), which is second in the league and 24th nationally, and in offensive rebounds (4.57), which leads the league and ranks fourth nationally. He also owns the second-most double-doubles in the conference with six.
