Women's Tennis Aims to Build Momentum at Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After sweeping Bucknell 7-0 in their last match, the Temple Women's Tennis team is looking to build on their momentum as they face Lehigh in their seventh match this spring.
Scouting Temple
- The Owls are coming off their second win of the spring season, dominating Bucknell in every match.
- Temple won all completed singles matches in straight sets.
- In doubles play, Irmak Ozturk and Tianni Zhou (6-3) as well as Marianthi Christoforidou and Yasmin Costa (6-1) secured the doubles point for the Owls.
Scouting Lehigh
- The Mountain Hawks are coming off a four-game losing streak before they face the Owls.
- Junior, Giselle Vlassis and Sophomore, Skye Yonehara earned Lehigh their first and only points for the night in their singles matches against Sacred Heart.
- Head Coach Sophia Geier is in her first season at Lehigh after spending one season as Brown's head coach. During her one season at Brown, Geier recorded 10 match wins and held an 8-2 record at home.
