CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Temple Owls women's basketball (11-14, 5-8 American) defeated the Charlotte 49ers women's basketball (12-14, 6-7 American), 58-54, on Tuesday evening in Charlotte.
Savannah Curry scored a career-high 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 from three-point range. Jaleesa Molina recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 12 points (5-of-10 FG) and 13 rebounds.

First Quarter
  • Savannah Curry recorded the first basket of the contest with a layup.
  • Charlotte responded with back-to-back baskets to take a 4-2 lead within the first 1:30.
