Horoshko, Martin and Wright Received Weekly American Honors
2.23.26 | Women's Lacrosse
PHILADELPHIA – Riley Horoshko, Sabrina Martin, and Amelia Wright earned weekly honors from The American Conference following Temple's wins over Rider and UMass Lowell. Horoshko was named Goalkeeper of the Week, while Martin and Wright received Honorable Mention recognition.
Horoshko recorded 25 saves across the two contests, allowing just nine goals. She currently ranks first nationally and in the conference in save percentage and sits second in The American in goals-against average.
Temple ranks 15th nationally and first in the conference in caused turnovers, led by Martin with 11. Martin also posted a career-high six draw controls in the win over UMass Lowell.
Wright paced the Owls with four goals against the River Hawks, all coming in the second half. She currently ranks fifth in the conference in goals per game (2.0).
